Epilepsy-Focused Functional Position with Collegial Team in West

A medical center in the West is excited to add an epilepsy-focused, functional-fellowship-trained neurosurgeon to its fantastic practice. The collegial team has a culture of collaboration and a vested interest in seeing the new hire succeed!

There is a tremendous opportunity to capture cases. Within the catchment area of two million, there is no competition for the group! Despite the sizeable patient population, call is not burdensome, as APPs take first call. This is a Level I Trauma Center and certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with nearly 700 beds. The medical center has a 52-bed neuroscience unit and a 20-bed neuro-ICU, and they are close to formalizing the EMU. The group also boasts a newly dedicated standalone building bringing neurology and neurosurgery together, offering a multi-disciplinary approach to care. More than 30 neurologists are currently on staff!

The community is proud to have a diverse physician population, including many first-generation physicians. The team is excited to offer mentorship for trainees interested in being part of a new and well-supported program, in addition to neurosurgeons of all experience levels.
