A large healthcare system in North Carolina is seeking a Neurology Division Chief. This is a new position for the system, as they look towards strategic growth for neurologic care for the region. The ideal candidate will be someone who is collaborative, open to driving clinical and operational alignment, interested in program building and improving access to care, and dedicated to value-based care.

• Two outpatient neurology practices
• Dedicated Neurohospitalist team
• Flagship hospital is a 628-bed Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Current neurosciences services include Movement disorders and DBS; EEG; Neuropsychology; Neurosurgery; Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Neurorehabilitation; Sleep Neurology; and Pediatric Neurology
• Development of closed Neurocritical Care Unit and Neurointerventional service line
• Serves the Piedmont Triad, consisting of 1+ million people in Guilford, Alamance, Rockingham, Randolph, and Forsyth counties
Neurology Division Chief Position Highlights:
• Support for subspecialty interests; flexible on hospital call responsibilities for Chief
• Flexible on protected administrative time
• Neurology practice leads, Movement Disorders Medical Director, Stroke Director, and Inpatient Neurology Director will report to this new Chief
• Chief will work closely with Chief of Neurosurgery, Chief of Critical Care, and other division leaders
• Report to Chair of Medicine
