Position Highlights:
-Hospital-employed general or advanced gastroenterology position
-Join a highly productive GI physician, willing and ready to mentor and one senior APP; second APP anticipated
-Strong internal referral network with no volume concerns for incoming physicians
-2,500+ referrals annually with two rural facilities feeding referrals into Athens
-At least one advanced GI desired, with expectation of some general GI initially as advanced volume ramps up
-All procedures currently performed at the hospital-based endoscopy center
Schedule & workflow:
-Call is currently capped at no more than 1:5, with improvement as the group grows
-Target model moving toward 4:1 endoscopy-to-clinic
-Goal to maximize physician time in endoscopy

-Base salary range: $600,000+, with flexibility upward for high-volume or experienced candidates
