Neuromuscular & Clinical Neurophysiology Neurologist (EMG Focus) Needed at Leading Western Michigan Regional Hospital

A well-established and highly collaborative neurology practice is seeking a Neuromuscular Medicine / Clinical Neurophysiology Neurologist with EMG expertise. This is a high-priority recruitment driven by growing demand for physicians with EMG interests.

Position Highlights
• Focus in Neuromuscular Medicine and Clinical Neurophysiology (EMG-heavy)
• On-site EMG lab located in the same building as clinic
• Dedicated EMG technicians who travel between sites
• EMGs integrated into clinic schedule plus option for full EMG days
• Neurosurgery located in the same building, allowing for close collaboration

Leadership Opportunity
• Neurology Medical Director role available for qualified and interested candidates

Schedule
• 36 patient-facing hours per week
• 4.5-day work week
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Coverage across two clinical sites

Call Responsibilities (Required)
• 1:5 call rotation
• Weekday call (Mon–Thurs): 24-hour consultative call only
• Weekend call (Fri–Mon morning): In-person rounding on admitted patients

Academic Affiliation
• Affiliation with a regional medical school
• Opportunity to work with neurology residents
• Teaching is encouraged but not mandatory

Candidate Qualifications
• Open to fellows and experienced neurologists
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
• Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine and/or Clinical Neurophysiology preferred

Visa Support
• J-1 candidates considered (must secure placement prior to early fall start year)
• H-1B sponsorship available
