Subspecialized Child Neurology Role in the Exciting Twin Cities!

One of the region's leader in pediatric neurosciences is seeking a pediatric neurologist to join its highly collaborative neurology team in St. Paul. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys complex pediatric neurology in a mission-driven environment with strong multidisciplinary support, flexible scheduling, and meaningful teaching opportunities. This Twin Cities campus serves as the flagship location for a broad pediatric specialty system and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for children, teens, and adults with complex conditions.
This team cares for a high-acuity patient population with significant volumes of complex epilepsy, cerebral palsy, genetic neurologic disorders, neurotrauma, and other medically complex conditions.

This highly collegial team is excited to welcome candidates with interests in General Pediatric Neurology, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Neurogenetics, and Pediatric Neurohospitalists. Also welcomed to apply are those interested in Headache and Neurocritical Care.


Program and Position Highlights:
• Enjoy immediate subspecialty volume to start
• High-acuity patient population with complex epilepsy, cerebral palsy, genetic neurologic disorders, concussion/neurotrauma, and neurosurgical overlap (Gillette Children's)
• EEG and video EEG available in both inpatient and outpatient settings; strong importance placed on epilepsy capability
• Opportunity to incorporate IONM into your practice, including a Gait Lab
• Flexible schedule with 4 days of clinic, 7/7 for Neurohospitalist
• Clinic volumes averaging 9–12 patients per day
• New visits typically 60–80 minutes; follow-ups 30–40 minutes
• Strong in-house support including experienced APPs, a 24-hour nurse line, social workers, support staff, and genetic counselors
• Close collaboration with PM&R, orthopedics, and pediatric neurosurgery
• Coordinated multispecialty clinics already in place, including movement disorders and other complex care models
• Strong genetics support and meaningful exposure to rare disease and gene-targeted therapies, including SMA-focused treatment innovation
