The new neurosurgeon will primarily admit to a 103-bed hospital that is a joint venture between a very large health system in the state and a university health system. The hospital is nationally recognized for both quality of care and patient experience, including a double, five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of “A”.
The group also admits to a Level I, 537-bed medical center. Named a Top 100 Hospital, it has comprehensive craniotomy and stroke programs and currently participates in clinical trials related to spine devices.
Practice Highlights:
• Call will be 1:6
• 5 PAs take first call; 3 RNs help with patient calls and wound care
• 150 cases anticipate in year one with approximately 300 expected once established
• Block OR time provided
• Latest equipment and state of the art technology available including an O-Arm, new Leica microscopes, stealth navigation and CyberKnife
