A large academic medical center in St. Louis is excited to grow its Department of Neurology with the addition of a Neuromuscular specialist and a Child Neurologist. This extremely collegial and supportive environment is ideal for both early-career neurologists and those with prior experience.
The neurology team treats thousands of patients across the St. Louis metropolitan area each year and, in September 2020, moved into a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. Position Highlights:
• 80% Clinical / 20% Research

Neuromuscular Position:
• 100% Neuromuscular volume
• Participation in an established Multidisciplinary ALS Clinic
• State-of-the-art neurophysiology lab on site for nerve conduction studies and EMGs
• Opportunities to participate in clinical trials and/or bench research
• Full faculty academic appointment
Child Neurology Position:
• 100% Pediatric Neurology volume
• Accredited ACGME Child Neurology Residency offering comprehensive clinical training
• Join a team of 8 child neurologists
• Support a well-established Division of Child Neurology at a nationally recognized children’s hospital
• 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient clinical expectations
• General child neurology with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests in neurodevelopment, headache, and neuro-oncology
• Inpatient call rotation: 1:6
• 8 half-day clinics weekly
• Full faculty academic appointment
