Practice Highlights:
• ~150 cases the first year, 250+ once established
• Strong referring relationship with primary care, orthopedics, pain, and PM&R
• Case mix of ~80% spine and 20% cranial
• No call requirements at community hospital. Call at main campus 2 days/month and local VA is an additional 2 days/month
• Residents and APP’s assist with first call
• Collaborative research and resident teaching opportunities; potential for eventual spine fellow rotation
• Large referral network and busy ER
• Marketing team and physician liaison to help the new neurosurgeon establish, keep, and grow important relationships with referral network
