Epilepsy Opportunity highlights:
• Level 4 NAEC
• 5 Bed EMU, with potential to expand to 7 beds with capacity for approximately 400 EMU patients per year
• Candidates with surgical epilepsy and brain mapping experience/training welcomed but all epileptologists invited to apply
• Experience with perioperative stereo-electroencephalogram (SEEG) analysis is necessary
• Experience or willingness to learn the indications and management of VNS, RNS, and DBS for epilepsy is strongly recommended
• 3-4,000 EEGs annually (2/3rds inpatient EEG)
• Monday to Friday schedule, working both with inpatient and outpatient settings
• 4 NL residents per year – expanding to 5 neurology residents per year
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to epilepsy care
