Junior Faculty Opening at Comprehensive Epilepsy Center in Los Angeles

A top academic instruction in Southern California is excited to welcome a new junior faculty at the assistant or associate professor level to their level 4 Epilepsy program. This person would join an current team of two epileptologists, one neurophysiologist, and a dedicated PA.

Opportunity to also participate in the Epilepsy Care Consortium, a living laboratory integrating epilepsy care through a network of 10 comprehensive epilepsy centers throughout Central and Southern California. The program makes it possible for patients of all socio-economic backgrounds to have access to the highest levels of epilepsy care, close to home.

Position Highlights:
- Extensive opportunities for teaching neurology residents and epilepsy fellows
- Support for research interests, especially translational research, through USC Neurorestoration Center
- Additional opportunities for partnering across the department and with other institutions in the region
- Shared epilepsy and EMU call
- Remote ICU EEG reading capabilities
- Clinical mix of inpatient and outpatient care related to epilepsy and surgical epilepsy patients
