Neurohospitalist

Movement Disorders
• Lead and participate in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, Huntington’s disease, myoclonus, tics, ataxia, and Tourette syndrome.
• Work with specialized neurology providers focused on individualized, multidisciplinary care for complex movement disorders.
• Contribute to resident education and clinical research in movement disorders as part of the academic neurology team.
Neuromuscular Neurologist
• Outpatient-focused neuromuscular practice with immediate access to the region’s only AANEM-accredited electrodiagnostic laboratory
(EMG/NCS, single-fiber EMG, repetitive nerve stimulation, diaphragmatic EMG, neuromuscular ultrasound, autonomic testing)
• Collaborate with the region’s only multidisciplinary ALS clinic (one of three in Tennessee; the only one in East Tennessee)
• Manage a full spectrum of peripheral nerve and muscle disorders, including MG, ALS, CIDP, neuropathies, radiculopathies, myopathies, and more
• Perform advanced immunotherapies and chemodenervation
• Protected time for teaching and research
