Exciting Private Practice Urology Opportunity Near Virginia Beach!

A multispecialty practice near Virginia Beach is excited to welcome another urologist to their team. This is a great fit for a general urologist. Subspecialty interests can also be supported including URPS, urologic oncology, and endourology in the context of a general practice. The incoming urologists will join an experienced team of 3 urologists and 3 NPs who provide an individualized approach to urology care to improve the quality of life of their patients. They offer comprehensive general urologic care, including in-office procedures and da Vinci Xi robotic surgery at the hospital. Additionally, you will be supported by an experienced administrative and clinical team that has been in their current roles for over a decade. They routinely have medical students and PA students rotate through their office.

Hospital:
120-bed, level III hospital 10 minutes from their clinic
da Vinci XI robot, with a new da Vinci 5 planned for next year

Position Details:
• Busy, well-established practice with tremendous growth potential
• Weekday call is 1:4 at the single 120-bed, level III hospital; Weekend call is 1:7 covering an additional two small (123 & 145) non-trauma hospitals
• Collegial group, will provide mentorship
• Subspecialty interests can be supported
• 3 NPs on staff which provide much needed time for physicians to see new patients and do office procedures, APPs see established patients only
• APPs do cystoscopies for stent removals and complex Foley catheters, their main role is seeing established patients and treating all UTI’s
• Block time is 4/5 days weekly and is allocated to the group
• Competitive salary, call is compensated separately
• $100k sign on bonus
• CME allowances, Health and Retirement Benefits, Malpractice
• Partnership track is 1-3 years
• Ancillary income opportunities - central Lab, ASC, real estate, laser rental
