Under the leadership of the Chief Medical Executive and Neurology Chair, the institute has a clear vision and the institutional resources to become a national center of excellence in neurosciences. The team consists of highly skilled medical professionals, supported by cutting-edge technology, and is focused on delivering the most advanced techniques and treatments.
Neurologists with expertise in movement disorders, stroke, general neurohospitalization, multiple sclerosis, and headache will have immediate patient volume, though all subspecialties are encouraged to apply.
This high-performing facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, currently licensed for 938 inpatient beds, featuring a 100-bed emergency department, a state-of-the-art neuro-intensive care unit, and step-down units. The Neuroscience Institute is also planning an expansion, with a new neurology services building to be constructed in the next 2 to 4 years.
There are ample opportunities for teaching and research through a faculty appointment at a nearby university, which includes training medical students and participating in clinical or basic science research.
