Epilepsy Program Director
• Opportunity based at Medical Center in Northwest Portland
• Core responsibilities include outpatient clinic, EMU service, and EEG interpretation.
• Epilepsy fellowship training and a minimum of five years of post-graduate experience in outpatient epilepsy management and EEG interpretation required
• Ideal candidates will have experience with an epilepsy surgery program
• Collaborate with functional neurosurgeons and support staff
• Evaluate patients for surgery
• Grow program to achieve NAEC epilepsy center certification
• Join a collaborative team of 9 outpatient neurologists (including one epileptologist), 4 clinic-based APPs, and 10 neurohospitalists
• The epilepsy program includes a 4-bed EMU and a comprehensive epilepsy surgery service.
• Provide outpatient consultation and longitudinal care for patients with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.
