An academically affiliated program in Western Michigan is excited to welcome vascular trained neurologists, a neurovascular Section Chief, and Neurocritical Care trained neurologists to their growing program. This is a terrific opportunity for someone who has an interest in sub-specializing in stroke, having access to teaching and research but also enjoy an outstanding compensation package.

Neurocritical care Highlights:
• 100% neurocritical care volume
• 14 bed closed neuro ICU, shares floor with SICU
• Full service- admitting and consult, very busy epilepsy unit and ability to read EEGs,
• 14/14 schedule- 1st week 7am-7pm, 2nd week night call and backup based on patient volume
• Very efficient, well run service, robust support team in place
• Leadership opportunity

Vascular Neurology Highlights:
• 100% stroke volume
• Certified comprehensive stroke center
• Currently a team of 5 attending vascular neurologists, growing to 7
• Opportunity at flagship hospital
• 4 stroke service lines in weekly rotation
• Shift model based scheduling
• Robust support system to include very experienced, dedicated stroke APP's and neurohospitalists, 3 neuro interventionalists and neurocritical care neurologists on staff
• Teaching opportunity- 4 residents, 2 stroke fellows per year
• Faculty appointment
