A Well-Established Practice in the Sunny Southwest Seeking a Spine-Focused Neurosurgeon to Join their Highly Respected Group

A well-established practice in the Southwest is seeking a BE/BC spine focused neurosurgeon to join their highly respected group. The successful candidate will be ambitious and energetic, with an interest in rapid growth, program building and surgical excellence. Hospital leadership is motivated to grow neurosciences including further development of the spine program. Immediate volume is available as a neurosurgeon recently left the community and the demand continues to rise. Approximately 150 cases can be expected in year one, 250+ thereafter. New and experienced neurosurgeons alike are welcome to apply. Mentorship is available for new grads and a leadership position is open for those with experience.

The group admits to a 453-bed level III designated medical center. It is part of a not-for-profit healthcare system consisting of nine hospitals, a statewide health plan and a growing multi-specialty medical group. Significant block time is available, with three rooms being run a day, along with administrative and anesthesia support for more, including swing rooms. Leica microscopes for both brain and spine surgery are available, as well as navigation equipment in the form of Stealth 8’s and O-arm.

• Share in call of 1:4 per month, on average. Major trauma goes to the university.
• 80/20 mix of spine and cranial work

• APPs on staff to take call, round, assist in clinic and the O.R.
