Stroke and General Neurology Opportunities at Large New England Health System

A large health system in New England is seeking a BE/BC General Neurologist and a Neurologist with fellowship training in stroke or neurocritical care to join their expanding neuroscience team in central Connecticut.

For General Neurology: This is an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate your skills and expertise in a general outpatient practice. Subspecialized interests in headache, movement disorders and neurophysiology would be well-supported in the context of a general neurology practice. Join a collegial group of neurologists and APRNs. This position also offers academic alliances with premier southern New England universities.

For Stroke/Neurocritical Care: Work within a collaborative environment as the hospital works towards Comprehensive Stroke Center accreditation. Focus solely on stroke care within the existing program and through an established affiliation with a nearby university neurosurgery team.

Practicing in Hartford, Connecticut’s state capital, puts you in the heart of New England. One million residents choose to reside in the greater Hartford area because it offers a tremendous selection of welcoming neighborhoods in which to live, excellent public and private schools, great restaurants, shopping, music, museums and historical areas. The central New England location puts you in close proximity to New York City and Boston with easy access to dependable air and rail services.
