A major university in the sunny southwest is actively recruiting for a neurosurgeon with fellowship training in endovascular neurosurgery as well as a desire to practice general neurosurgery. This academic center is the state’s only Level 1 Trauma center and Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center. The hospital is preparing to transition to Comprehensive Stroke Center status.
Become part of a dynamic neurosurgery team consisting of eight well-established surgeons, one of which is endovascular trained with an additional neurosurgeon joining this summer. There are 10 advanced practice providers on staff, with one dedicated to the endovascular service. A strong referral base exists, with a robust critical emergent tele neurology program (ACCESS) serving 19 hospitals across the state.
Each neurosurgeon does 200-240 cases per year. Endovascular call will be 1:3.
