Interventional Neurologist needed at an Academically-Affiliated Medical Center in Western Pennsylvania

An academically-affiliated medical center in western Pennsylvania is seeking an interventional neurologist to join their current team to grow their interventional neuroradiology program. A Medical Directorship position would also be available for an interested and experienced candidate. This is a rapidly growing system in the region, with consistent case volume and no competition.

Opportunity Highlights:
• 1:2 interventional shared call - most cases are held overnight until next morning as there is the ability to read images from home; only need to come into hospital for most urgent cases
• Dedicated time in angio-suite with priority for emergency cases
• Strong support from radiologists and neurosurgeons to expand interventional neurology practice
• Case variety – selective and incidental aneurysms; subarachnoid hemorrhages; diagnostics
• Great need in the community; cases are being sent out when current interventional neurologist is not available
