A growing health care system in the south is seeking a spine focused neurosurgeon with deformity skills to collaborate with the current neurosurgery team in this busy metropolitan city. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing health system and utilize your deformity skills. Candidates should be trained in and have an interest in deformity. This leading health system is a private, not-for-profit organization serving nearly 2 million patients across the state.
The new neurosurgeon will work at their main hospital and enjoy a two-year hospital sponsored guarantee and then transition to the private practice group that admits to the hospital. This is a non-trauma designated hospital and a 643-bed, private, not-for-profit hospital and a leader in patient care that’s helped the community get better and stay well for more than a century.
The new neurosurgeon will partner with the current employed group as well as the local group. Call will be 1 in 8 and the hospital does not see trauma cases. The hospital service line includes neurosurgery, neuro hospitalist and neuro intensivist services with a dedicated stroke/neuro unit and thriving spine and brain tumor programs. A dedicated neuro-ICU unit, contiguous to the neuro unit, will be developed in tandem with the new vascular program that is being developed.
