An Academic Hospital in Massachusetts is looking to add a Stroke Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The stroke team consists of five physicians and four Advanced Practitioners. The practitioner’s duties include: evaluation; development and implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic plan; interpretation of laboratory, imaging, and physiologic data; discussion of patients with consultants; and clinical documentation including discharge planning. Also, the APP will work in the clinic performing follow-up visits for general neurology, headache, and stroke patients.
