The practice has 3 locations and offers a high volume of surgical cases. Join a well-established group of neurosurgeons, one of which is an endovascular and cerebrovascular specialist, and a large team of advanced practice providers. No local competition.
All neurological/neurosurgical patients are admitted to a Level II hospital in town. The hospital has a neuro/trauma ICU, with critical care management currently provided by surgical and medical intensivists. Neuro-hospitalist (one boarded in neuro-critical care) currently provide ICU consultation. This is a Level 2 trauma center with 769 beds. A brand- new GE biplane suite with flat panel monitors was constructed in 2015. The hospital will provide a 2- year competitive guarantee for the new neurosurgeon to join the group. This is a referral center for 7 counties, with no other large stroke program in this region of the state. The group has recently merged with another group in town,
