State of the Art Spine Institute Seeks Two Academic Spine Neurosurgeons!

Outstanding opportunity for two academic spine neurosurgeons to join a stable, well-regarded academic program in the South! Newly trained graduates and those with experience are welcome.
Abundant emergent and elective volume exists, new hires can expect a full clinic on day one! Ample mentorship is available for new and early career graduates.

An opportunity to serve as Co-Director of the Comprehensive Spine Program is available for those at or above the Associate Professor ranking. The Neurosurgical Co-Director will lead and further develop the spinal surgery program in partnership with the Orthopaedic Co-Director. The departments work collaboratively in a team-inspired approach to provide the best in patient care.

An interest to participate in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows is required. Interests in research is encouraged, a lab package is available for the right candidate. A spine fellowship is required, demonstrated spine experience will be considered in lieu of fellowship training. All spine subspecialty interests will be supported, MIS interests are desired.

Practice Highlights:
• General trauma call is shared equally among the faculty, residents take first call
• Spine call will be shared with three ortho spine surgeons and two neurosurgeons
• State of the art equipment exists including a robot, an O-Arm, two Stealth stations and more!
• 125 cases anticipated in year one, with more than 250 once established
• Neurocritical care and APRN staff exclusive to neuro patients
• Block O.R. time exists
