Dual-trained vascular neurosurgeon needed in beautiful coastal North Carolina town

A well-established and successful private practice in beautiful coastal North Carolina is hiring a dual-vascular trained neurosurgeon. Walk into immediate volume as the current endovascular neurosurgeon is extremely busy and in need of a partner. For over 20 years, this private neurosurgery group has been providing exceptional, innovative care to the region. Organic growth and future retirements are leading the practice to bring in an exceptional endovascular neurosurgeon to join the group.

The practice has 3 locations and offers a high volume of surgical cases. Join a well-established group of neurosurgeons, one of which is an endovascular and cerebrovascular specialist, and a large team of advanced practice providers. No local competition.

All neurological/neurosurgical patients are admitted to a Level II hospital in town. The hospital has a neuro/trauma ICU, with critical care management currently provided by surgical and medical intensivists. Neuro-hospitalist (one boarded in neuro-critical care) currently provide ICU consultation. This is a Level 2 trauma center with 769 beds. A brand- new GE biplane suite with flat panel monitors was constructed in 2015. The hospital will provide a 2- year competitive guarantee for the new neurosurgeon to join the group. This is a referral center for 7 counties, with no other large stroke program in this region of the state. The group has recently merged with another group in town,

Qualified Candidates

• BC or BE Neurosurgeon with competencies in minimally invasive surgical techniques
• Endovascular and Cerebrovascular Fellowship
• Ideal candidate will be comfortable leading and improving a DNV-GL Certified Comprehensive Stroke program
