That’s one of the high-priority objectives for 2014.” This neurosurgery job is a good opportunity for a physician who specializes in surgeries related to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system, which include the spinal cord, the brain, spinal cord, extra-cranial cerebrovascular system and peripheral nerves. The Central New York area needs another neurosurgeon to serve patients from Jefferson County, Lewis County, and St. Lawrence County. According to the Samaritan Medical Center web site, the neurosurgery position is a partnership track offering professional support with a well-established nine physician practice. In 2013, Samaritan Health, through it's affiliation with Upstate Medical University and Neurosurgical Associates of Central New York, appointed Farook J. Kidwai, MD to their staff. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. In 2014, Samaritan Medical Center is attempting to recruit a neurosurgeon to expand their local neurosurgery practice.
